Leading online recruitment company, TotalJobs, have introduced a new service to their clients, which allows acquiring vacancy information directly from clients sites and automatically re-posting it on the TotalJobs site without any efforts from client organisations using this service.

Daxtra Technologies, an Infogistics company, have developed the solution to provide job-boards with a quick and cost-effective way of jobs acquisition. VacancySpider is a robot which, once given a URL, will monitor that site for any changes in vacancy information, including new, deleted, or updated jobs. It automatically finds, extracts and delivers job-listings from specified client sites, and then re-publishes them on the job-board in its proprietary format.

A weekly report outlines the specifics of each job posting as well as changes per company from the previous week. The database is rebuilt each week by automatically crawling and capturing original job postings on corporate Web sites, assuring that the data is always as accurate as possible.

Through this unique solution, TotalJobs have been able to significantly improve the vacancy-capture process offering the new service to those clients who would like to advertise all their vacancies on the job-board, but have insufficient resources to post them manually.
